To The Daily Sun,

I hope the citizens and lawmakers of New Hampshire still have enough concern about their personal freedom to resist pressure from Big Money/Big Business, and resist pressure from the seat belt law zealots to enact that nanny law. It's good to know there is one state that hasn't sold its soul to the seat belt department, but keeps traffic safety in "crash prevention" where it belongs instead of getting diverted into a nanny law.

New Hampshire has been having a lower than average fatality rate per 100 million vehicle miles of travel without a seat belt law for adults. This fact is not told through the national news, because it humiliates that sacred idol, the seat belt law.
