To The Daily Sun,Â
For all the people who took the time to pick up trash this weekend, and any other time, thanks. For all of the individuals who put the trash there, Shame on them.
From the looks of what was picked up there are a lot of people that drink and drive. For instance there’s one part of Brown Hill Road close to Route 107 that I now call Fireball Curve. Last year my friend and I picked up 21 of those empty bottles. This year only 11. Glad to see the consumption is going down. However that’s just one of many varieties of alcohol. Who are people hiding their drinking from if they're throwing their trash on the side of the road for all to see? Far be it for me to snub soda cans, vape canisters, cigarette butts, etc.
We live in a beautiful area, people please stop littering. No one wants to look at the mess. There are plenty of other ways to get rid of trash responsibly and we can think of other ways to get exercise.
