To The Daily Sun,
I know a rugby player who had injured his back so badly that he was considering surgery. His back is now miraculously healed, and he has no pain. A student I know had Crohn's disease. He also was healed by God and has no digestion issues today. I met a woman who had a terminal heart condition and needed a heart transplant. Her heart is now healed and functioning normally. Another person was set free from anxiety and depression by the love of God. My own Lyme disease has been cured by prayer. These things can be hard to believe, even when experienced first-hand. Jesus tells us in the Bible that believers (Christians) will lay hands on the sick and they will recover. This is just as true today as it was 2,000 years ago. In the last few years, I have seen dozens of miraculous healings. It is the love of God, the authority of Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit, at work through a trusting believer, that makes this possible. Would readers let a Christian pray for them if there was a 100% chance they would be healed? How about 50% or 25% or even only a 1% chance of healing? There are several churches here in Laconia with Christian believers that would be more than willing to pray for you. I know they routinely see healings at the Calvary Assembly of God, Faith Alive Christian Fellowship, Lakes Region Vineyard Church, Real Life Church and St. Andre Bessette. I’m sure there are others as well.
