To The Daily Sun,

At Sanbornton's upcoming Wednesday, March 11, at 7 p.m. Town Meeting at the elementary school gym, voters could help the Sanbornton Historical Society bring the restored and antique snow roller, sitting in our Currier building all these years, into public view. Its restoration was completed in 2007, and many hands helped ― the head engineer was Ralph Sellars. Sanbornton's roads relied on these in winter, when horse-drawn sleighs took families from the farm to town or to the church. The snow on our roads was packed down by the horse-drawn snow roller.

We gathered signatures to get a lease-land question on the Town Meeting warrant. I'll stand at the microphone to introduce the article as a Sanbornton Historical Society board mamber and take questions. Your support with a yes vote would be appreciated. The article is scheduled for the end of the Town Meeting, so please stay to vote!
