To The Daily Sun,
Before COVID-19, my wife and I loved to travel in our retirement. Like so many people, we miss our trips and cannot wait to do so once it is safe. But first, we must reach herd immunity by vaccinating people not just across New Hampshire and America, but the entire world.
It is encouraging that New Hampshire is already vaccinating its second phase — and even more so encouraging because our supply of vaccines continues to increase from the federal government. And while manufacturers’ efforts to develop and produce vaccines has been well-documented, we must also recognize the unsung heroes working behind the scenes to ensure vaccines are delivered to each of our communities.
Healthcare distributors are working alongside our government, manufacturers, and administration sites to get vaccines into our arms as quickly as possible. They are getting all doses, protective equipment, and other needed supplies are where they need to be as soon as they are available. These efforts will be critical as vaccines continue to be made available.
We’re almost there. The light is at the end of the tunnel with the help of our vaccine distributors. The first thing I’m going to do when enough of the US is vaccinated is book a trip for my wife and I so that we can finally feel normal again.
