To The Daily Sun,

I urge everyone to question and not accept crypto mining companies coming into New Hampshire, and to call the committee members listed below before Oct. 29, to ask them to vote "no" to HB 639. The mining is an electricity and water drain and drastically drives up electricity costs. The noise is a non-stop vibration of thousands of machines running 24/7. People near crypto mining companies report sleepless nights as a result of the noise and bright lights. Real estate values have dropped and even plummeted in areas near these businesses. In addition, HB 639 states that these businesses will not have to abide by NH laws.

Contact Sens: Dan Innis (603-271-2609), Denise Ricciardi (603-271-1403), Donovan Fenton (603-271-3469), and Tara Reardon (603-271-3091). Ask these committee members to vote "no" to HB 639. Spread the word.
