Publisher’s Crawl is a casual evening where the community can meet local reporters, editors, and publishers, talk about what matters to them, ask questions about local news, share story ideas, or just come see what journalists are actually like in the wild.
The night is complete with free food, prizes and conversation. There's no need to follow the news, just come share what matters.
The goal is to get staff out of their newsrooms to connect with people who don't regularly read, watch or listen to local news. The evening will have lightly structured, small group conversations about what the community cares about, what kind of news they find useful, and ways to get news.
Each event is scheduled from 6 to 7:30 p.m., with plenty of time to learn all about the ins and outs of local news, as well as give input on what news consumers would like to see from their local outlets.
Publishers crawls are free to attend, and are hosted by the Granite State News Collaborative and local news partners across New Hampshire.
