A motorcycle and a car collided Wednesday evening on Endicott Street East in Laconia, resulting in the motorcyclist going into traumatic cardiac arrest and being transported to Laconia Hospital Concord.
The collision occurred near Weirs Beach and the Gilford town line at approximately 6:25 p.m. The unidentified man was given CPR by a doctor and nurse who were traveling near the scene of the wreck.
Endicott Street East was closed for hours as police reconstructed the accident scene. Officers were still on site as of 10 p.m.Â
Laconia police were assisted by Gilford police and the Belknap County Sheriff's Department as well as New Hampshire State Police. Laconia Fire was assisted by Gilford Fire and Rescue.Â
