A Laconia man was among four people arrested when an investigation by several law enforcement agencies led them to methamphetamine laboratory at 78 Carter Mountain Road on Monday.

The New Hampton Police Department, New Hampshire Attorney General's Drug Task Force and Federal Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the investigation and were assisted at the scene of the arrests by the New England Regional Clandestine Lab Team. During a search of the residence police discovered a laboratory equipped and supplied for the manufacture of methamphetamines.

Michael Zaikowski, 40, of 78 Carter Mountain Road was charged with possession of methamphetamines while Thomas Smith, 46, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamines. Sean Sewell of Carver Street, Laconia was found in possession of cocaine. Laura Smith, 33, was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Littleton District Court.

Zaikowski, Smith and Sewell are scheduled to appear in Laconia District Court.
