CONCORD — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will begin crack sealing on Interstate 93, in the northbound and southbound travel lanes between mile marker 35.9 and 38.4, on Sunday Oct. 5.
Weather permitting, construction operations will require nightly lane closures. This work is expected to be completed over a two-week period, and will take place from approximately 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each day.
Motorists should remain alert while traveling through any construction zone, and obey all message boards and posted signs. Motorists can sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages by text or email from newengland511.org.
Pike Industries in Belmont is the general contractor for the $7.1M turnpike pavement preservation project, which is expected to finish this year.
