Kindness for a cause

Volunteers hand out sweet treats for World Kindness Day in Laconia on Monday. Volunteers asked takers to make a donation to a variety of organizations involved in helping those experiencing homelessness. HealthFirst, Partnership for Public Health, Gilford Hannaford, Starbucks, Dunkin', the Community Action Program, Lakes Region Mental Health Center, Meadow Ledge Farms and New Hampshire Vintage Vinyl worked together, all volunteering or donating for the cause.
