GILFORD — Gunstock Mountain Resort has updated its website to provide more detailed information about the five-member Gunstock Area Commission, including how it operates, frequently asked questions, and important documents.

The Gunstock Area Commission is appointed by the Belknap County Delegation to manage Gunstock Mountain Resort (also known as Gunstock Area) as a financially independent, self-sustaining organization. The Gunstock Area Commission operates under an enabling statute enacted by the New Hampshire Legislature, Laws of 1959, Chapter 399.

The commission meets on a monthly basis, with a calendar of meeting dates posted on the website. Those wishing to address the commission should contact General Manager Greg Goddard to be placed on the agenda for a specific meeting.
