Do you and a counterpart with opposing views want to participate in an active listening exercise?
We are looking for volunteers to spend an hour together with a moderator to practice what we have been preaching in our Zoom panel discussions and here in the Digital Public Square: listening, really listening, to understand each other's opposing views.
Through this practice we hope to identify some of the most important issues that divide us. In addition to exploring these in this forum, we also plan to invite some of you to participate in our next Zoom panel discussion.
Who is ready to listen?

Do you have a set schedule for the listening sessions or can they be arranged to meet individual constraints?
I'm happy to volunteer solo. I've checked in with a couple of friends who lean differently and none of them are interested in participating.
Thank you Steven. We have another volunteer who may be a good counterpart for you. I will check and let you know.
Hi Steven. I emailed you yesterday with an invitation. Hope you can join.
