Zdenka "Mishka" Bures passed away suddenly on June 15, 2026, in Green Valley, Arizona.
Born in Czechoslovakia in 1937, she came to the United States in 1964, with her beloved husband, Dr. Milan Bures, and lived with him for many years in Massachusetts. Following Milan’s passing in 1996, she divided her time between residences in Green Valley, Arizona, and Ashland, where she had many dear friends.
Cosmopolitan in taste and firm in her opinions, Mishka brought a full measure of class to every room she entered. Those privileged to share confidences with her soon came to depend upon her wisdom and attentive, deeply compassionate nature. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her and loved her.
She is survived by her nephew Jiri and family of Prague, Czech Republic.
A memorial gathering in Green Valley, Arizona, will be announced at a future time.
