LACONIA — Norrine S. Derusha, born on July 29, 1941, said her final "So Long for Now" at 2:31 a.m. on Easter Sunday (April 16), 2017, at Genesis Healthcare facility on Blueberry Lane, Laconia.
Norrine peacefully passed away in the company of her devoted, loving daughter, Laura Morrissette, and son-in-law, Russ Morrissette.
Norrine grew up in Laconia and was a dedicated employee at Lakes Regional General Hospital for 50 years.
Norrine was a mother of three amazing children, Robin Elliotte, who predeceased her mother, Mark Wright, and Laura Morrissette.
She enjoyed all nature, but took a special liking to hunting and fishing. She also liked working on puzzles and playing her favorite game of bingo. She especially appreciated brook trout fishing at Saltmarsh Pond in Gilford.
She is survived by her brothers, Lamont Clark and Ben Elliotte; daughter, Laura Morrissette; son, Mark Wright; five grandchildren, Edward Walsh III, Angela Buford, Joshua Ingram, Dakota Wright, and Cheyenne Wright; three great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Kolby, and baby Alvin; four nieces, Laronda Clark-Patton, Heidi Reed, Tammy Ryan, Donna Clairmont; two nephews, Clifford Piccard and Jessie Piccard; two great-nephews, Skylar Clark-Patton and Allister Clark-Patton.
A graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Baptist Road, Canterbury, on Saturday, April 22, at noon.
