BELMONT — Louis G. Shepard, 84, passed away on Dec. 3, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He was a longtime resident of Bow and Belmont. He was a member of the Masonic Temple and the Bektash Temple Drum Corps, where he spent many years involved in its fellowship and traditions.

A hard-working man, Louis ran a successful family business that became a steady part of his life and work for many decades. His commitment to providing for his family and maintaining the business was a central part of who he was.

Louis is survived by his wife, Donna, his four daughters, Kimberly, Kristine, Kelley, and Keiron, and his seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Each of them carries their own memories of him, and his presence will be felt in their lives for many years to come.

A celebration of life honoring his life will be held 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Franklin Elks Lodge, 125 S. Main St., Franklin.

Family and friends are invited to attend and remember him in their own way.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Louis’ name to the New Hampshire Humane Society, P.O. Box 572, Laconia, NH 03247, and/or Shriners Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Springfield, MA 01104-2396.
