Louis E. Pare passed away on June 29, 2022, at the age of 88, surrounded by family. He was born on July 12, 1933 in Lowell, MA to Ethel and Louis Edmond Pare.
Lou was an avid reader, loved to play golf and was a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox. He enjoyed attending all the various sporting events played by his sons, grandchildren, and great grandson.
Lou also served in the United States Air Force during the Korean war. He worked at Raytheon company for 35 years as a contract negotiator and graduated from Merrimack College with a degree in Business Administration.
Lou is survived by his wife Claudette of 63 years; son, Stephen and his wife Kerry Pare of Fitchburg MA, and son Brian Pare of Holderness, NH; and three grandsons, Alec Pare from Pelham, NH, Corey Pare and his wife Justine from Nashua, NH, and Ross Pare from Chelmsford, MA; one granddaughter, Christina Pare from Dracut, MA; and one great-grandson, Stephen Pare from Pelham, NH. Also, sister-in-law, Janet and her husband Doug Hayes from Chelmsford; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Pare, who passed away in 2018.
The calling hours will be held on July 7, 2022 9 a.m.-10:45 a.m. at Mayhew Funeral Home in Plymouth, NH. followed by an 11 a.m. mass at St. Matthew’s church in Plymouth.
