FRANKLIN — Linda Mae Shaw, 69, a resident of Franklin, died Monday, April 30, 2018, at the Genesis Center in Laconia, following a period of failing health. She was born in Franklin on Sept. 13, 1948, daughter of the late Ethel Mae Griffin. Linda lived in the Tilton-Northfield areas for many years until moving to Grafton in 2000. She moved to the home of her daughter and son-in-law in Franklin in 2016. She worked at the Belt Shop and Tilton Leather Company for many years and especially enjoyed babysitting for family and friends. She always enjoyed having animals at her home.
She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Lawrence M. Shaw Sr., who died in 2014.
She leaves her daughter, Tina M. Clark and her husband, Robert "Bob" of Franklin; sons, Lawrence M. Shaw Jr. of Franklin and Shawn M. Shaw of Grafton; three grandchildren; brother, Charlie Wiggin of Northfield; sisters, Laura Shaw of Plymouth, Rosanna Bartlett of Northfield and Emma Shaw of Laconia; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, May 4, at 10:30 a.m. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
Burial will follow.
