CONCORD — Dale A. Bouchez, 72, of Pleasant Street, passed away on June 7, 2026, at Presidential Oaks in Concord.

Dale was born on Aug. 8, 1953, in Peoria, Illinois, the son of Robert and Neva (Tate) Bouchez.

He was a building inspector for the city of Aurora, Colorado, and also served as a VA consultant for special adaptive housing. He enjoyed playing golf and fly fishing.

Dale is survived by his fiancée Carol Schonfeld; and by his family in Colorado, son Arthur Bouchez; daughter Cassandra Dupree; two grandchildren, Tristan Dupree and Kiara Dupree; brothers Dennis Bouchez and Larry Bouchez; and sister Colette Juniper. Though not related by blood, he is also survived by George "Ed" Barlow, a beloved member of Dale’s chosen family, who was by his side through life’s celebrations and challenges.

There will be no services at this time.

His ashes will be brought to Colorado, to be interred.
