WOLFEBORO — Renowned jewelry artist Betsy Keeney will lead a two-day beginner jewelry workshop at Makers Mill on Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Perfect for beginners, this hands-on workshop covers essential techniques like safety, design, texturing, sawing, filing, forming, soldering, cleaning, and bezel setting a cabochon. Under Keeney’s expert guidance, participants will create their own wearable art while building foundational skills for their creative journey.

Keeney is a New England-based artist with a passion for metalsmithing and jewelry design. With a studio just outside of Boston, Keeney draws inspiration from the natural beauty of Northern New England, incorporating elements of flora and fauna into her timeless, handcrafted designs.

“I love the endless possibilities of working in metals — forming, texturing, finishing. This passion keeps me experimenting and exploring,” she said.
