LACONIA — The Lakeside Bridal Show at the Margate is Sunday, March 1. Anyone in the midst of wedding planning and shopping for vendors is encouraged to attend the event, scheduled noon-3 p.m.
The Lakeside Bridal Show marks the start of wedding season in the Lakes Region, and is produced and coordinated by Lakes Region Bride magazine.
Start the day with Sunday breakfast at Blackstone’s Restaurant in the Margate, then head to the bridal show in the Winnipesaukee Ballroom and the Mariah Room, featuring many New Hampshire wedding professionals, including florals, photographers, cake bakers, caterers, and bridal boutiques.
Galleria Salon and Day Spa will offer free updos and makeup consults, there will be table designs and linens by divine inspiration design studio, live music, and a grand prize of $500 in cash from WJYY. The winner will be drawn at the show, must be present to win, and pre-register.
“We will be offering everything a couple could need to complete their wedding planning, plus some fun things such as our wedding library area, where guests can pick up free copies of Lakes Region Bride and other helpful wedding-planning magazines,” said Kathi Caldwell-Hopper of Lakes Region Bride magazine.
Admission to the bridal show is $5 at the door. All guests, brides, grooms, members of the wedding party, families, and anyone who loves weddings are welcome to attend.
The Margate is located at 76 Lake St., with on-site parking. Visit www.lakesregionbride.com or call 603-293-2327 for more information.
