LACONIA — The Colonial Theatre of Laconia is planning a number of performances for 2026.
Rocky Mountain High Experience starring Rick Schuler will perform Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m.
America’s top John Denver tribute, is a magical, intimate show that transports audiences back to the 1970s, when Denver’s music filled the airwaves, sold-out arenas nationwide, inspired 29 television specials, and even reached the big screen in the hit film “Oh God.” Rick’s enchanting performance features all the beloved classics, “Rocky Mountain High,” “Sunshine On My Shoulders,” “Take Me Home, Country Roads,” “Leaving on a Jet Plane,” “Annie’s Song,” “Thank God I’m a Country Boy,” and more.
Country Music Hall of Famer, five-time Grammy winner, and AMA Lifetime Achievement honoree Marty Stuart will perform on Friday, April 17, at 8 p.m. Stuart is an artist who has truly stood the test of time. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mississippi, he earned his first major gig at 13, playing in Lester Flatt’s band, and by 21 he was touring and recording with Johnny Cash. While he first made his mark backing some of country and bluegrass music’s biggest legends, Nashville soon recognized his own star power. Over more than four decades as a solo artist, Stuart has released over twenty major-label albums, achieved platinum sales and hit singles, and collected nearly every honor the industry has to offer.
Comedian, podcaster, and actor Jim Breuer will bring his Find The Funny tour to Colonial Theatre of Laconia on Saturday, April 25, at 8 p.m. Known for his wit and authentic storytelling, Breuer’s Find The Funny tour draws from everyday family life, blending humor and heart in a way that has made him one of comedy’s most relatable voices.
Bored Teachers: “Is It Friday Yet?!” Comedy Tour on will be at the Colonial on Sunday, May 17, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. They’ve graded the papers, survived the staff meetings, and lost their last ounce of patience and now they’re taking it out on stage. Comedian Bob Marley will perform on Saturday, July 11, at 8 p.m. Marley is featured regularly on Sirius XM radio, and he won their Superbowl of Comedy. He has put out over 20 comedy CDs and DVDs. He was inducted into The Guinness Book of World Records for “the longest stand-up comedy show by an individual” at 40 hours of straight stand-up.
