MOULTONBOROUGH ― Winnipesaukee Wellness Center, a nonprofit exercise facility in Moultonborough, received a generous grant from the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation. The grant will help further Winnipesaukee Wellness Center's mission of providing health related information and a place to exercise and support for adults in the community.
Winnipesaukee Wellness Center's purpose is to establish and maintain a supervised program for people who desire to begin and sustain an exercise routine. It offers exercise equipment, strength training and balance classes, and bi-monthly educational programs on health and wellness topics.
New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is a statewide community foundation dedicated to making our state a more just, sustainable, and vibrant community where everyone can thrive. The foundation says it is a place where "generosity meets the dedication and ingenuity of non-profits and the potential of New Hampshire students." New Hampshire Charitable Foundation awards $70 million in grants and scholarships every year.
