PLYMOUTH — November is American Diabetes Month, a time to raise awareness and support those affected by diabetes. In recognition, Speare Primary Care and White Mountain Eye Care & Optical, departments of Speare Memorial Hospital, invite the community to attend their free Annual Diabetes Day on Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the lobby at 103 Boulder Point Drive.

This free event offers an opportunity to learn more about diabetes prevention, management, and care. Attendees can take advantage of prediabetes screenings, explore educational displays and resources, and connect with health care professionals.

The event will also feature refreshments, giveaways, raffles, and the ACHS Teaching Kitchen, making it both an informative and engaging day for community members of all ages.

“Diabetes affects millions of people nationwide, including many right here in our community,” says Rachael Brown, LPN, care coordinator at Speare Primary Care. “Events like this help raise awareness, promote prevention, and provide valuable information and support to those living with diabetes or at risk.”

No registration is required, and admission is free.
