LACONIA — The former Evangelical Baptist Church building located in Veterans Square, Laconia. NH. has been sold. Papers were signed on Thursday, February 6.
The last service at this location was held on October 27th, 2013. The Evangelical Baptist Church now resides at the former location of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, Washington Street, Lakeport. The first service at this location was held on November 3.
The church is currently meeting in the gymnasium building while renovations are completed in the worship center. Current renovations involve the installing of an elevator, and the remodeling of the worship center and the lower classrooms. The church expects to move into this building in the spring of 2014. Yasharian Construction of Tilton, is heading up this project.
Services are held on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. The administrative offices are located at 50 Washington Street. Lakeport. 603-524-2277.
