TILTON — WRSD School Board Chair Sean Goodwin and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Shannon Bartlett recently recognized the district’s retiring staff members Karen Dow and Kathleen Morrill.  

Dow has worked in the Winnisquam Regional School District for 31 years as a reading specialist at both Union Sanborn School and Southwick School and as a district England language arts interventionist/data coach. Dow is a passionate advocate for literacy, supporting hundreds of students over the year to gain the skills and confidence to become lifetime learners.

Morrill has been with Winnisquam for 39 years as a physical education teacher at both Union Sanborn School and Southwick School.  Her passion for teaching has truly left an indelible mark on her students.   Her unwavering commitment and enthusiasm have been evident in every lesson and every student interaction.
