BRISTOL ― The Tapply-Thompson Community Center recently received a $15,000 grant from the Greater Lakes Region Charitable Fund for Children to be used for their Every Child is Ours program.
The grant will provide food for students who may not have enough to eat over the weekend by providing food bags of 10 items each. The grant will help further TTCC’s mission: “Build a stronger community through enriching activities, recreation and family support, where people of all ages are engaged, encouraged, and nurtured.”
The Tapply-Thompson Community Center serves the communities of the Newfound Region with youth and adult programs, special events, and more.
