LACONIA — The Laconia-Gilford Lions continued their holiday tradition of staffing the central downtown Laconia stand of the Salvation Army collecting donations and ringing bells by the kettle.
“On behalf of our organization," stated Kathy Seil of the Salvation Army, “I want to thank all the members of the Club who donated their time to ring the bell for our Red Kettle Campaign this holiday season. We are extremely grateful for your dedication. Your Club raised $792 for the Campaign this season. We appreciate your continued support.”
The Lions are glad to help and to remind everyone who is able and willing to aid the Salvation Army and other such organizations, and not just during the holidays.
