PLYMOUTH — The Pemigewasset Valley Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, has named the 2025-26 chapter winner of the DAR Good Citizens Contest as Addison Allain from Plymouth Regional High School.

The DAR Good Citizen program and scholarship contest is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship. Students selected for this award must display dependability, service, leadership and patriotism.

Allain is described as an outstanding student leader with a strong record of service, involvement, and achievement. A four-year member of both Student Council and Senate, she also served two years as a student school board representative, advocating for her peers and helping shape student legislation and initiatives. Allain is active in the OSSIPEE Wellness Club and National Honor Society, serving as historian, and is a member of the Spanish Honor Society. Through her leadership, she has raised over $5,000 for community food drives and more than $1,000 for Special Olympics, volunteered over 50 hours through NHS and SHS, and served as captain of the Unified Soccer team. Her extracurricular commitments include 12 years of dance, varsity tennis, soccer, and Unified basketball, along with part-time employment, demonstrating responsibility and a strong work ethic. Allain plans to attend a four-year university and pursue a career in journalism.
