LACONIA ― Riley Stewart from Operation Delta Dog will speak at the Laconia Knights of Columbus meeting hall on Friday March 27, from 10 a.m. to noon.

Operation Delta Dog is a New England-based nonprofit that rescues shelter dogs at risk of euthanasia and trains them as psychiatric service dogs for veterans living with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and other invisible wounds of service. By pairing rescued dogs with veterans, Operation Delta Dog helps reduce isolation, restore independence, and save lives, rescuing one life while saving two.

Any veteran, active military personnel, or those wishing to learn more about the Operation Delta Dog are invited. The presentation will be at the Laconia Knights of Columbus Hall, 314 S. Main St. Parking is available at the rear of the building and access is via the rear door.

The Knights of Columbus also sponsors an informal coffee, and donuts open house every Friday morning from 10 a.m. to noon and is open to all veterans. Advocate services and materials are available.
