GILFORD — Gardening has been a joy and a hobby since early childhood. After moving more than a dozen times, Rita has experienced a variety of gardening challenges she will share at her talk: "Bloom Where You Are Planted."

Rita is married and the mother of five children, grandmother of 12 grandchildren and great grandmother of two cherubs. She is a retired RN geronotlogy educator and has also spent 18 years conducting retirement planning seminars for corporate executives.

Rita's program will be presented on Monday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m., at the Gilford Community Church at Potter Hill Road. Visitors are welcome.
