MEREDITH — The Meredith Fire Department will present a community remembrance ceremony and memorial dedication on Friday, Sept. 11 to honor and remember the lives lost in the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
At noon, Meredith firefighters will walk from the Meredith Fire Department to Hesky Park, where the ceremony and dedication will take place before the memorial is relocated to the Central Fire Station as a permanent place of remembrance. Members of the public are invited to attend and join the community in reflecting on this significant day.
Meredith Village Savings Bank was honored to support this meaningful community effort with a $5,000 donation toward the memorial and event.
