MEREDITH — Lakes Region Dance will hold their second annual Mini Golf Tournament fundraising event at Pirate’s Cove in Winnisquam on Sunday, Oct. 2, at 11 a.m. Proceeds will go toward competition and travel fees for their national competition.
“This will be the first time that our LRD competition team has ever gone to Nationals,” said Lea King, studio owner of Lakes Region Dance.
The tournament is put together by parents of dancers, along with 23 local sponsors. LRD invites teams of two to four players to register. Pre-register by emailing Kimberly Ide at kimberlyide3@gmail.com by Monday, Sept. 26. Registration includes 18 holes of mini golf, a T-shirt, donut, and a beverage. There will be cash prizes for the grand prize winner, as well as instant hole-in-one prize drawings, and a bake sale.
