LACONIA — Laconia Historical & Museum Society will host Sunday Series, a new monthly program held on the third Sunday of each month at The Archives, the LHMS Museum.

Designed to complement regular offerings, the Sunday Series features special programming and events with a rotating focus — ranging from family-friendly experiences to adult and specialty programs throughout the year.

The first Sunday Series program will take place on Sunday, Jan. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Archives, located at 61-65 Water St.

The January Sunday Series will be family-focused and will feature “Winter Scene: A Community Mural” an interactive exhibit where children can create a winter-themed craft and add it to a growing mural inspired by winter in Laconia.

Led by Pam Clark, a former Laconia elementary teacher, this kid-friendly Sunday Series offers children a familiar and welcoming learning experience. With years of experience and a passion for hands-on learning, Clark’s deep ties to the Laconia community help children feel comfortable, curious, and excited to explore our local history.
