MOULTONBOROUGH — Hundreds of fiction and non-fiction titles, DVDs and puzzles will be on sale on Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Moultonborough Library.

For the first time ever, the annual book sale will include a preview night. For a $25 registration fee, patrons will have first pick at the book sale on Friday, July 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. Visit the library website: moultonboroughlibrary.org to register.

Proceeds from the sale will go to further library programs and services. In previous years, book sale profits have funded NH Humanities programs, authors and speakers and special collections.

The Moultonborough Library will accept donations of used books in saleable condition until June 30. The library will not accept encyclopedias, textbooks, magazines, non-fiction books older than five years or moldy books. This allows us to offer high quality, gently used books and materials to the public at this most anticipated annual event.

Would you like to help make the book sale a success? Register as a volunteer. We need people to help set up and break down, sell and move books. Visit our website to register.

The Friends of the Moultonborough Library will be at there selling tickets for the beautiful ocean-themed raffle baskets and the Moultonborough Women’s Club will hold a bake sale on Saturday.

The Moultonborough Library will be closed on Saturday, July 2 and Monday, July 4 in observance of the holiday.

The Moultonborough Public Library is open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It is located at 4 Holland Road. For more information call 603-476-8895.
