GILFORD — The 102nd annual Gilford Old Home Day celebration was held August 27. Annual activities included the parade, entertainers, pie-eating contest, egg toss, community dance and spectacular fireworks. The parade award winners were as follows:

Grand Prize, Best Overall — Gilford Public Library

Neighborhood Floats — 1st  Place to Wicked Witches of the Lakes Region, 2nd Place to Lake Shore Park and 3rd Place to Gunstock Nordic Association

Commercial Floats — 1st Place to Legacy Group, 2nd Place to Bank of New Hampshire

Mini Floats — 1st Place to Katie Dobbins, 2nd place to First United Methodist Church and 3rd Place to GHS Robotics Club

Neighborhood Marchers — 1st Place to Ready Set Grow Learning Center, 2nd Place to the Gunstock Acres Noodle Club

Individual Marcher — 1st Place to Miss Winnipesaukee Outstanding Teen and 2nd Place to Miss Winnipesaukee and 3rd Place to Monarch Queen

Antique Vehicles — 1st Place to Hayden McLaughlin, 2nd Place to Knights of Columbus and 3rd Place to Gary Parker

Other Vehicles — 1st Place to Coldwell Banker, 2nd Place to the NH Army National Guard and 3rd Place to Lake Shore Park Prince and Princess

Boats — 1st Place Hi-Gloss Boat Restoration

Oxen — 1st Place to Kathy Salinitro

Equestrian — 1st Place to Hannaford’s Supermarket
