MEREDITH ― The Meredith Public Library has the perfect Cabin Fever Reliever ― its first ever Community Puzzle Challenge. Can the Meredith community come together to assemble a 1,000 piece White Mountain brand puzzle featuring classic best-selling book covers in one week?
The fun begins on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. in the library Function Room. The 24 inch by 30 inch puzzle will be set up on a large table. Refreshments will be available as puzzlers need fuel to keep their energy up. Participants are encouraged to share their puzzle-solving strategies and expertise with fellow puzzlers.
Attendees will try to get as much done on the puzzle at the kick-off which will last from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. that day. After that, the large table and remaining puzzle pieces will all be moved to the front historic room so people can continue to work on it all week until completion. All participants earn free chances at puzzle-related gifts.
The Community Puzzle Challenge will run from Tuesday, Feb. 17 until Saturday, Feb. 21. All ages are welcome to help out.
