Kendall Jones, of Plymouth, was named to the dean's list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2024. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.92 or higher. Jones is majoring in biochemistry and theater at Bates.

Albright College student-athlete, Laurel Gingrich of Gilford, earned the Most Outstanding award as a women's swimmer, Abram Karlip Outstanding Senior Female Athlete Award, women's Neal Harris Academic Excellence Award and NCAA Woman of Year award during a ceremony on April 30, in Merner-Pfeiffer-Klein Memorial Chapel. She was also recently named a Jacob Albright Scholar for 2024. A graduate of Gilford High School, Gingrich is a member of the field hockey, women's swimming, and track/field teams studying Communications: Journalism, Fashion at Albright.

READING, PENN. — Laurel Gingrich of Gilford is one of 65 Albright College students who presented scholarly work at the 25th annual Berks County Undergraduate Research and Creativity Conference held at the beginning of April.
