BRISTOL — The Town of Bristol invites the community to join in the Halloween Celebration on Friday, Oct. 31, with activities for all ages happening throughout town, 5-7:30 p.m. Activities kick off on Thursday, Oct. 9 with Scarecrows in the Square, which will be up until Sunday, Oct. 26.

Scarecrows will be on display in Central Square. To participate, fill out an application at bristolnh.gov.

The Events Committee will be in the square to assist with scarecrow set-up from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 9, and take down 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26.

This family-friendly event is a long-standing Bristol tradition and a great way to celebrate the season with the community.

On Halloween, the costume parade will take place at 4:45 p.m. in the TD Bank parking lot. Participants of all ages are welcome. A trunk or treat will follow, 5-7:30 p.m., in the Dead River parking lot. The witching house will be at 6:14 p.m. in Kelley Park.

The Masonic Lodge will host a haunted house and Tapply-Thompson Community Center will have a haunted yard.

North Main Street will be closed to vehicles from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
