LACONIA — Tucked into the heart of the Weir’s Beach honky-tonk, Tower Hill Tavern, 264 Lakeside Ave., offers music-lovers a rare treat with the return of Boston’s notorious acid blues band Bees Deluxe on Saturday, June 25 from 7-10 p.m. Armed with virtuoso guitar, soulful harmonica, drums, bass, keys and uncommon musicality, Bees Deluxe takes audiences on a blues odyssey that includes addictive originals and also fresh takes on favorite tunes by artists ranging from Billie Holiday and Etta James to Little Feat and Jimi Hendrix.
“This is a great summer venue,” said Paul Giovine, the band’s drummer. “We are glad to be back at the hottest spot in the Lakes Region. Come on out and dance!”
Open air seating, fire pits and a laid back beachy atmosphere are the perfect backdrop for Tower Hill’s excellent cocktails and the music of Bees Deluxe. Summer starts here. Doors open at 6 p.m. Music from 7-10 p.m. No cover.
