LACONIA — Laconia Village Bakery is now under new ownership, the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce reports.
Rachael Jameson purchased the business recently.
She began working in 2011 with an internship under then-owner Kevin Halligan while attending the New England Culinary Institute.
With a focus on locally-sourced ingredients, Laconia Village Bakery provides special orders for holiday treats and celebration cakes, homemade soups and breakfast sandwiches daily along with lunch.
It has been a dream for Jameson to own her own bakery and she loves being in downtown Laconia. She appreciated her loyal customers and invites those that have not visited to come on in for some local food.
Laconia Village Bakery will have all types of pumpkin treats during the New Hampshire Pumpkin Festival in October. Check their Facebook page for daily specials.
