WOLFEBORO — The New Hampshire Boat Museum will host the biennial Wolfeboro Vintage Race Boat Regatta on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 17-18.

The regatta, which began in 2000, features dozens of vintage boats, including small outboards, Grand Prix hydroplanes, Jersey Skiffs and Gold Cup racing boats. The regatta is a free spectator event on Wolfeboro Bay.

“This is such a fun event for people of all ages,” said Executive Director Martha Cummings.

In addition to races, the regatta features several evening events open to the public, including a cocktail party on Friday, Sept. 17, 6-8 p.m. The Awards Dinner Fall Social takes place Saturday, Sept. 18, 6-9:30 p.m. Both are ticketed events.

“Meet the drivers, who come from throughout the nation, and celebrate a great season at NHBM,” said Cummings.
