There were fruity scenes aboard the International Space Station (ISS) as the crew enjoyed the fresh produce that a recent supply drop delivered.
The happy astronauts were pictured with fruits and vegetables, including apples, onions and peppers, floating in microgravity.

NASA's Jessica Meir commented on Tuesday, April 21: "In addition to science, cargo vehicles also may deliver fresh fruit and vegetables to the Space Station. This is always a welcome change from our dehydrated and preserved food and is a huge morale boost, bringing smiles all around."
ESA astronaut Sophie Adenot said: "I love these moments when the whole crew comes together around an event like this. Welcoming a cargo vehicle is such a special experience: you know you’ll be receiving care packages from teams and families, along with a wealth of scientific experiments – and maybe even some fresh fruit too."
