This story just gets more bizarre with the inclusion of local law officials' involvement with Murphy, Manager of the Marina. I am sure we will hear more about that, or maybe the public will not since little to no information has been released on that "ethics investigation" beginning earlier this year. Is it OK to destroy a family and its business, and leave the police department unscathed by these findings? The charges with a wild allegation "It also alleges that Murray engaged in sexual exploitation, including prostituting employees to customers." If I were a customer of the Marina I would want to know more about this? It is alarming if found to be true but until then boaters should be demanding why this information is so carelessly reported. As the reader, I am still trying to figure out if Fortier & Murray we married, domestic partners, divorced, or merely roommates? Each article is different, and if this simple question cannot be reported on accurately, then how can there be credibility in anything cited by the source of this information.
