Steve Earle: Unironically amazed that newspapers print such denial of reality

Looking at the Dec. 28 paper, where Michael Kitch states shooters generally have history of being law abiding. Not so. The vast, vast majority of gun crimes committed in America are in the inner Democratic cities. Look up the statistical facts. Violent drug gangs run amok in every one of those cities and media fails to report that to America. Apparently Mike gets his information from New York Times, CNN and so forth but that is political, not factual. Those sources report "generally" on mass shootings in schools and public gathering places and still the majority have to date been troubled" juveniles who were not legal gun owners to begin with.

 

It amazes me how much this and other papers allow such abundance of what is obviously denial of reality and facts to fill the LTE columns. Above is only one example, there is also the claim there are more than two genders. Not so. Then global warming which has shown no real evidence of being true with every prediction failing reality. Then anti-gun folks keep trying to challenge the clear concise language of the Second Amendment. It goes on and on here but a 300-word limit here handicaps my narratives, none of which are opinions but provable facts.
