To The Daily Sun,

Sept. 10 is New Hampshire Primary Voting Day. The signs by our roads are the evidence. Primaries historically draw much lower voter turnouts than general elections. However, I urge voters to research the candidates, take part in our constitutional process and exercise their right to vote. This year the majority of primary contests are on the Republican side of the ballot. Republican voters should make themselves aware of Free Staters and extreme Libertarians posing as Republicans vying for seats in Congress, the governor's office and NH Legislature. The Democratic side of the ballot has important primary contests for governor and House Congressional seats. Primary Day is also a good day to verify your voter registration is current. Get out and vote. Finally, I request that Primary contest losers remove their signs quickly.
