Rep. John Sellers: Shooting the competition happens in a banana republic

This is a sad day for America when people have to revert to violence to beat the competition.

Why would anyone want to shoot Donald Trump? Is it because the people have been sold so many lies, they cannot distinguish a lie from truth?

Democrats have no real message so they attack Trump. They continue to incite violence by calling him a king, fascist, Nazi, dictator, insurrectionist, he will destroy our democracy. As Joe Biden stated “It’s time to put Trump in the bullseye.” Really? This creates hysteria and Biden is doing exactly what he is accusing Trump of doing on Jan. 6.

Democrats should run on their own issues like allowing transgendering of kids, teaching sex ed to kindergarten, allowing obscene material in our schools, woke confusing teachings instead of teaching on improving scores in reading, math and science (50% or more of our kids are failing at grade level), limiting parental rights, allowing millions of illegal aliens to cross our border without paperwork, support sanctuary cities because of all the illegal aliens they let enter, giving illegal aliens drivers licensing which then may be used to vote (you must be a citizen to vote), wanting men to play on women’s sports, forgiving student loans, bigger government, killing innocent babies by allowing abortions up until birth (six months is not enough?), and I’m sure I missed a few.

What has happened to the Democratic Party? Democrats need to run on their issues and stop selling fears, what ifs, and half-truths or lies.

We are lacking in morals, integrity, and character building. We should be learning from the Pilgrims and our forefathers, the creators of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitutions, how they relied on god.

Shooting the competition is not the way to go, that’s a banana republic.
