We must also consider the potential chaos we would be facing had Donald Trump remained in office. While inflation and rising prices have certainly challenged many Americans during the post-COVID recovery, these trends have affected countries worldwide, not just the U.S and are independent of any presidential influence. Understanding this context highlights the Biden-Harris administration's achievements in navigating these turbulent times.

The recent drop in inflation and interest rates underscores their success in managing the economic challenges left by Trump. Despite inheriting an economic crisis, they’ve avoided the recession many economists predicted, contributing to the most robust post-COVID recovery by all developing countries in the world — growing GDP and adding jobs.

Kamala Harris’ proposals are estimated to be lighter on the national debt by about $4 trillion over the next decade compared to Trump’s, reflecting steady leadership. Initiatives like capping medical costs, not raising income tax on those making less than $400K and addressing price gouging support ongoing economic growth and the middle class.

Had Trump remained president, we’d likely face economic chaos and recession. His lack of a comprehensive health care plan exemplifies his failure to provide stable policies. Reckless deficit spending and impulsive decisions would have led to greater instability.

Thank God for John McCain’s decision to block Trump’s repeal of the ACA. Had McCain not stepped up, we might still face a health care crisis with just a “concept” of a plan. Like the Biden-Harris administration, McCain’s actions emphasized the importance of steady leadership for our nation’s economic stability. In this moment, let’s remember to put country above party and vote for steady leadership.
