To The Daily Sun,
Do we really listen to what our politicians are saying? I was stunned to read the following quotes:
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries ― “Clearly, the problem here is the enforcement of laws. They’ve constantly inflamed, prodded, and goaded mostly peaceful criminals into unavoidable acts of civil disobedience by tyrannically carrying out the charge entrusted to them. What gives them the right? Other than their badges?”
Chuck Schumer ― “I don’t think it’s very polite of them to arrest people. Things would be so much calmer if they just didn’t do that. I understand it’s their job, but maybe they should just not do their jobs. They need to stop preventing protesters and lawbreakers from doing whatever they want.”
Read those statements again and let their defense of criminals sink in. These two Democrats think it’s OK for criminals to break the law. They are protecting criminals more than they are concerned for the safety and well-being of citizens. They swore to uphold the Constitution of the United States and uphold the laws of the land. Now they are telling us that it’s OK for criminals to break the law and the police, ICE and other law enforcement agents should just let the criminals do whatever they want. So, it’s OK to beat up police and other enforcers of the laws of our land? Would they like any criminal to harm a family member? Or are they just looking to foment chaos and disorder?
