To The Daily Sun,

Not only is there no Covid-19 pandemic in New Hampshire, there is no Covid-19 period. Just like there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, which a stroll down memory lane will remind the reader of all of the propaganda that was laid upon the citizens of the U.S.in the build up to that war that deprived many soldiers of their lives. And for what?

Does anyone reading this even remember the detailed lies that were told daily for months that ultimately led to most of the countries support for that war. How about the war in Vietnam? Nearly 70,000 dead American soldiers in that lie. How many readers remember that disaster? Particularly, how many remember all the administrations that lied about that one. I'll remind you. John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford.

Okay, moving on. Let's talk about the biggie, at least before the current Covid biggie — 9/11. I'm not going to get into the controversial lies which may or may not have been hoisted on us. Sticking to the known big lie that was told to us for weeks, if not months, following that disaster. Namely, that workers around the downed towers need not worry about all that foul smelling stuff in the air at the base of the fallen towers, "It's safe" (trust us). We now know that was a grave and repeated lie which to this day is depriving many brave souls of their lives from injuries that even the courts have determined they suffered as a direct result of breathing horribly damaging toxic air as they worked in those terrible conditions. Now, I could go on and on all day with these examples. Look them up if you doubt my recollections.

My main point, if it is not clear by now, is, one cannot trust anything our government tells us. Wow, that's a bold, if not brash statement. Do I mean they always lie. Nope. I'm not aware of "always." What I am aware of is a perspective that most readers will be familiar with. Consider our judicial system. When someone testifies in a court hearing and they are found to have told a lie, do you recall what usually happens to anything that they stated before and after that lie? Or consider when someone in that same scenario states something and later appears to contradict a previous statement they made. Basically, in almost all cases, any credibility they may have had is no longer.

Covid-19 is stacked with these types of lies and conflicting "facts." Early on it was "Don't wear masks," Now, it's "wear masks." Remember when 'They" told us, in the beginning, all these draconian measures "would only last for 14 days, until we flatten the curve". I wonder how many actually believed them then. Someone once said: "It is easier to lie to someone than convince them they've been lied to."
